Job summary

Airbus Operations SASE Airbus is seeking a Primary Flight Control Designer to join the Flight Control System and Guidance team in Toulouse. You will contribute to high/low-level design, specifications, and system integration of the Integrated Flight Control System to ensure safety, validation and certification.

Ideal candidates have experience in Flight Control Systems design, strong Matlab/Simulink skills, and familiarity with SCADE; English negotiation and French/Spanish language skills are

Qualifications

• Experience in Flight Control Systems design or complex system engineering.
• Strong background in Matlab/Simulink with SCADE is a plus.
• Knowledge of aeronautics and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Specify primary flight computers using formal specification tools (SCADE).
• Integrate flight control laws and Automatic Flight Systems.
• Define interfaces with avionics (Navigation, Display, Warnings).
• Write simulation or flight test requirements and track progress.
• Perform safety analyses and certification evidence.
