Job summary

Airbus Operations SASE Airbus is seeking a Primary Flight Control Designer to join the Flight Control System and Guidance team in Toulouse. You will contribute to high/low-level design, specifications, and system integration of the Integrated Flight Control System to ensure safety, validation and certification.

Ideal candidates have experience in Flight Control Systems design, strong Matlab/Simulink skills, and familiarity with SCADE; English negotiation and French/Spanish language skills are

Qualifications

• Experience in Flight Control Systems design or complex system engineering.
• Strong background in Matlab/Simulink with SCADE is a plus.
• Knowledge of aeronautics and certification processes.

Responsibilities

Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.Your challenges:Specify primary flight computers using formal specification tools (SCADE) and integrate flight control laws and Automatic Flight Systems.Define and manage interfaces between primary flight control computers and key avionics systems (Navigation, Display, Warnings).Contribute to defining tools, methods, and specification rules for primary flight control computer design.Write simulation, laboratory, or flight test requirements and track associated progress.Perform safety analyses and produce technical evidence required for certification compliance.Your boarding pass:Proven experience in Flight Control Systems design or complex system engineering.Strong technical background in Matlab / Simulink, with SCADE usage considered a strong advantage.Sound knowledge of aeronautics, Overall Aircraft Design, and advanced automation principles.Experience with test requirements definition, system safety analyses, and certification dossiers.Negotiation level in English; proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus.Not a 100% match?
