Job summary

• Experience with test requirements definition, system safety analyses, and certification dossiers.

• Define and manage interfaces between primary flight control computers and key avionics systems (Navigation, Display, Warnings).

• Write simulation, laboratory, or flight test requirements and track associated progress.
• Perform safety analyses and produce technical evidence required for certification compliance.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Primary Flight Control Designer (f/m) to join our Flight Control System and Guidance department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing the Integrated Flight Control System program. As part of the team, you will be involved in high/low-level design, specifications, and system integration aiming at ensuring flight controls safety, validation, and certification.

Your challenges

Your boarding pass

• Proven experience in Flight Control Systems design or complex system engineering.
• Strong technical background in Matlab / Simulink, with SCADE usage considered a strong advantage.
• Sound knowledge of aeronautics, Overall Aircraft Design, and advanced automation principles.
• Experience with test requirements definition, system safety analyses, and certification dossiers.
• Negotiation level in English; proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
