Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France seeks an Autoflight system Certification and Safety Engineer to join the AutoFlight Certification & Safety team in Toulouse. You will work on AutoFlight (ATA22) Certification, Safety and Airworthiness across Airbus programs and be involved in certification and airworthiness for the AutoFlight system.

The role requires coordinating with designers, test centers, pilots and airworthiness authorities, leading safety analyses, and promoting robust safety

Qualifications

5+ years in system safety, certification and qualification, flight controls or auto flight system development.
Experience in system architecture and integration preferred.
Excellent communication, coordination and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Certify AutoFlight modifications, define Certification Plan and negotiate with airworthiness authorities.
Coordinate with designers, test centers and pilots for MOC issuance.
Interface with Airworthiness Authorities through reviews and meetings.
Contribute to safety analyses (FHA, SSA, CMA, MMEL) with the safety organization.
Support continuous airworthiness and incident follow-up; develop preventive and corrective actions.
