The role requires fluency in French and English, with experience in ship management and vessel maintenance. Based on-site in Boulogne-Sur-Mer, France or Cuxhaven, Germany, with duties including travel to vessels and coordination with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in ship management and fleet operations.
• Expertise in inspections and overseeing vessel maintenance and repairs.
• Experience in the fishing industry is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical service and support to vessel crews.
• Manage purchasing and shipping of spare parts and supplies for the vessels.
• Monitor and maintain the vessel maintenance system.
• Monitor the overall status of the fleet and coordinate vessel repairs during port stays.
• Supply and support crews during port calls.
• Travel to vessels and interview crew on service/maintenance issues.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers and service companies.
• Manage certification processes for vessel flag and class compliance.
• Serve as stand-in for Fleet Manager and Purchasing Manager; CSO duties.
