Jifmar Group, a leader in maritime services, seeks a Superintendent to ensure technical and operational availability of vessels under your responsibility. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with crews and plan on-site stoppages in compliance with regulations.

Based in Aix-en-Provence or Bayonne, the role requires 5+ years in the maritime sector, fluent English, and a maritime engineering background.

Qualifications

• Merchant Navy experience or maritime engineering education.
• Over 5 years' experience in the maritime sector.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring the technical and operational availability of the vessels under your responsibility.
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance with crews in accordance with regulations.
• Preparing, planning and monitoring on-site technical stoppages for your vessels.
• Ensuring that reporting is effective in the CMMS.
• Managing and monitoring the budget for each vessel.
• Auditing vessels in line with deadlines and requirements.
• Ensuring safety rules are applied and providing necessary training.
• Acting as liaison between Jifmar, Maritime Affairs and the Classification Society.
• Taking charge of or participating in vessel newbuilding, refitting or integrating new units.
