Port of Portland seeks an Airport Fleet Services Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of the Port’s equipment and vehicles. You will manage the fleet shop, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive cost-effective reliability and safety improvements.

This leadership role focuses on expanding alternative fuel use to meet sustainability goals and requires strong experience in large, diversified fleet operations and procurement strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, business administration or related field; additional experience may substitute.
• 5+ years managing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of varied vehicles and equipment.
• Experience in large, diversified fleet maintenance operations including emergency-type vehicles.
• Experience managing a large fleet management, procurement, and replacement program.

Responsabilités

• Lead Vehicle Maintenance team with supervision of staff and planners; review work plans and schedules.
• Develop world-class maintenance processes and support the Aviation Business Plan.
• Oversee fleet daily operations: scheduling, dispatching, preventive maintenance, and cost tracking.
• Lead capital projects, procurement decisions, and contract management to ensure compliance.
