Jobtailor seeks a dedicated tester to validate firewall software developments and build robust automated tests. You will configure and maintain test infrastructures, deploy environments, and help reproduce issues with the development and support teams.

You should have experience in IT or network systems integration, knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux/FreeBSD, scripting (Perl, Python, Shell), and familiarity with virtualized environments and CI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT or network systems integration.
• Ability to develop automated tests.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network security, VPNs, and firewalling.
• Proficiency in GNU/Linux and FreeBSD.
• Skills in Perl, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with DNS and LDAP system administration.
• Knowledge of virtualized environments: VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and Citrix Xen.
• Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a Scrum/Kanban team.

Responsabilités

• Test and validate software developments for firewalls based on functional specifications and associated requirements.
• Enhance and maintain test infrastructures, including server and application installation and network configuration.
• Deploy test environments with a range of equipment to assess developments under real-world customer conditions.
• Develop and improve the reliability of automated tests to ensure product non-regression.
• Diagnose security solution failures to support their resolution.
• Contribute to performance improvements through benchmarking and stress testing.
• Propose functional and product quality improvements.
• Help technical support, pre-sales, and development teams reproduce and analyze issues.
• Work with Stormshield Network Security firewalls, which monitor network traffic and block malicious connections.
