Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Software Development Engineer to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment with a stack including Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS, delivering robust features for customers worldwide.

You will participate in architecture discussions, own critical processes, and ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with an object-oriented language, preferably Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in relational databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software used by global clients including major tech firms and financial institutions.
• Participate in Agile meetings to influence development strategy and roadmaps.
• Own critical processes that are secure, available, and scalable.
• React quickly to emerging technologies and propose architecture changes.
• Write and maintain automated tests across all layers of the stack.
• Review code focusing on design choices and business logic.
