Deezer is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to join the Finance Ops & Central costs team in Paris for a 6-month internship starting January 2027. You will help with monthly closes, budgeting, and financial analyses to support operational projects.

The role requires a Master’s program in Finance, fluent French, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills with a keen analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Master's candidate or graduate in Finance or related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken French; strong English communication.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; analytical mindset.

Responsabilités

• Assist with monthly closing processes (P&L, accruals, KPI).
• Prepare data inputs for revenue, royalties and expenses calculations.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and variant analysis on budget/growth.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team (Finance Ops & Central costs), which is in charge of elaborating and monitoring the budget, assessing operational projects from a Finance perspective, analyzing Deezer's performance, and accompanying operational teams in their various projects.

Position based in Paris mandatory, 6-month internship starting in January 2027

What you will do:

Monthly closing:

Assist with month-end financial reports (P&L, accruals, KPI)

Prepare the data inputs necessary for revenue, royalties and expenses calculations

Provide ad hoc financial analysis

P&L follow-up:

Ensure the correct analytical splits and analyze variations (budget, growth…)

Provide ad-hoc financial analysis

Analyze new business opportunities

Update business plans and provide monthly financial analysis

Budget/ Reforecast:

Work on yearly forecasting process

Update and maintain business plans

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

• Master's program, ideally specialized in FinanceYou speak French fluent
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in both French and English
• Excel has no secret to you (PowerPoint is a plus)
• Analytical skills and aproblem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently
