Back Market is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern in Bordeaux to help produce reliable financial data and reports supporting budget and forecasts.

You will join the finance team, participate in monthly reporting and the development of the annual budget, and work on pricing models and financial tools.

Starting January 2027 for six months, full-time 35 hours per week, with a hybrid work setup and an internship agreement from your school.

Qualifications

• Finance student (or equivalent) seeking a 6-month internship.
• Available for a 6-month internship in Bordeaux starting January 2027.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in corporate finance or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly reporting including operational KPIs and financials for Board materials.

As Financial Planning & Analysis Intern, you will help produce reliable and insightful financial data and reports to ensure Back Market’s financial health and growth and help structure our process. In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to support the development of our budget and forecasts.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):

• Participate in the preparation of monthly reporting including operational KPIs and the company’s financials, Board of Directors materials & other ad hoc analyses.

• Participate in the development of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.

• Assist the team with ad-hoc reports, data analysis, presentations, and projects (such as reviewing services pricing models or revamping financial tools).

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF:

• Student in Finance (or equivalent)

• Looking for a 6-month internship in Bordeaux

• English is no-brainer for You and French is a plus.

• You have excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to synthesize conclusions.

• You have a first experience (at least 5 or 6 months) in Corporate Finance and/or Audit and/or financial consulting

• Excellent mastery of Google Suite (or equivalent) tools with Google sheets in particular

• Team player with a strong sense of accountability and ownership, and not afraid of working in a demanding hyper-growth environment

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

• Starting date: January 2027

• Duration: 6 months (until June 2027)

• Schedule: Full-time (35H/week)

• Location: Bordeaux, France

• Contract: Internship agreement from your French school required
