Believe’s LAS Business Controlling team is seeking a Senior Business Controller to join a PE-backed, international environment. You will support the Head of LAS Controlling in monthly closings, performance analysis from Revenue to EBITDA, and drive automation of closing processes.

You will partner with LAS Central Sales and local teams to monitor performance, optimize working capital, and ensure budgeting tools are robust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Audit / TS or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, PowerQuery/AppScript and Generative AI tools is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Working proficiency in English and French is essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform monthly closing tasks related to business topics (royalties accruals, advances risks) on P&L and Balance sheet.
• Conduct EBITDA-focused analyses, including working capital and ROCE, to ensure actuals reflect the business.
• Drive automation and efficiency improvements across closing activities through cross‑team collaboration.
• Partner with LAS Central Sales and local teams to monitor performance and support strategic decisions.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring tool integrity and enabling strategic tracking.

The LAS Business Controlling team is looking for a new Senior Business Controller. This team is part of Central Finance focusing on the LAS Business Line and covering all geographies. Label & Artist Solutions (LAS) Business Line is a strategic pillar of Believe’s growth, providing tailored distribution, marketing, and development solutions to labels and artists worldwide. By combining local expertise with global scale and advanced digital capabilities, LAS supports partners at every stage of their development, driving sustainable growth and long-term value creation. In this context, the LAS Controlling team acts as a key Finance Business Partner, supporting performance monitoring, strategic decision-making, and the continuous optimization of the business model.

We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to join our LAS Business Controlling team of 3 persons. Working within a PE-backed company, you will operate in a dynamic international environment where you will support the Head of Label & Artist Solutions Controlling in financial closing and analysis. This role involves extensive cross-functional and global collaboration with central and local sales teams, alongside the use and improvement of digital tools for automation, insights, and enhanced decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• A. Financial Controlling
  • Perform monthly closing tasks related to business topics (Accruals on royalties, risks on advances…), on P&L and Balance sheet
  • Support the analytical review, monthly, from Revenue to EBITDA, including working capital and ROCE analysis, to ensure that actuals are properly reflecting the business
  • Play a key role in driving automation, process rationalization, and efficiency improvements across all closing activities, by collaborating with other teams (AS Controlling, Methods & Referentials…)
• B. Business partnering
  • Support the business in its monitoring and transformation, in close collaboration with LAS Central Sales team:
  • Contribute to the design of a structured analytical framework to monitor LAS performance and drive strategic decisions.
  • Support initiatives to optimize business line working capital, cash flow, and capital allocation
  • Act a business partner with local sales and finance teams
• C. Support & animate Budget & Forecast process for LAS Business Line:
  • Set the framework to ensure, with Central Sales team, that budget exercise enables us to track the proper execution of the strategy and / or Group BP
  • Oversee integrity of budgeting tools and collaborate with Methods & Referentials and Project teams for tools enhancement (continuous improvement of the EPM).
  • Support local teams / business teams during budget process, challenge their projections to ensure we meet financial objectives

Qualifications

Qualifications and required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Finance, Audit / TS or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet and PowerPoint/Slides
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, PowerQuery/AppScript and Generative AI tools is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Working proficiency in English and French is essential.
• Proactive contributor to the ongoing evolution of the finance function.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills to work across departments.
