Ampersand World SA is seeking a Finance & Trading Project Manager in Paris to drive transformation across Finance, Trading, Risk and IT. You will define requirements, optimize CTRM/ETRM processes and contribute to performance measurement frameworks.

Working at the intersection of Finance and Trading, you will manage projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and support the rollout of new tools and reporting capabilities in a demanding international environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Experience in finance with exposure to commodity trading environments.
• Knowledge of CTRM/ETRM and trading processes is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive projects across Finance, Trading, Risk and IT.

Responsabilités

• Lead Finance and Trading transformation projects, from business needs assessment through implementation.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and performance improvement.
• Define target processes, business requirements and functional specifications with Finance, Trading, Risk and IT teams.
• Contribute to evolution and optimization of CTRM/ETRM and trading-related systems.
• Participate in Trading and Finance systems roadmap and support implementation of new tools.
• Contribute to projects related to trading performance, risk management, controls and reporting.
• Coordinate testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Support change management, user adoption and new processes and working practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal controls, KPIs and Finance processes.
• Act as a key interface between business users and technical teams.

For one of our clients, an international company with significant exposure to commodity markets and trading activities, we are recruiting a Finance & Trading Project Manager to join its Finance organization in Paris.

Working at the crossroads of Finance, Trading, Risk and IT, the role will contribute to the transformation and optimization of trading-related processes, systems and performance management frameworks, with strong exposure to both physical and derivatives activities.

Your mission:

• Lead Finance and Trading transformation projects, from business needs assessment through implementation
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and performance improvement
• Define target processes, business requirements and functional specifications in collaboration with Finance, Trading, Risk and IT teams
• Contribute to the evolution and optimization of CTRM / ETRM and trading-related systems
• Participate in the Trading and Finance systems roadmap and support the implementation of new tools and functionalities
• Contribute to projects related to trading performance, risk management, controls and reporting
• Coordinate testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent
• Proven experience within Finance combined with exposure to commodity trading environments
• Good understanding of physical and derivatives trading, financial performance and risk management
• Experience in project management, Finance transformation or business process improvement
• Knowledge of CTRM / ETRM systems and trading-related processes is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with IFRS, financial controls and performance management topics
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions
• Comfortable working across Finance, Trading, Risk, Operations and IT teams
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and change management capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP, reporting and data tools
• Fluent in English and French mandatory
• Autonomous, structured and rigorous, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a demanding international environment
