Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support wireless communications, public safety radio systems, and critical communications technology. This on-site role is based in Chantilly, VA with regional travel to customer and field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wireless communications, electronics, RF systems, telecommunications, low-voltage systems, military communications, or related technical environments.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining two-way radio systems, antennas, cabling, and wireless communications equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain two-way radio and wireless communications equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, system testing, equipment upgrades, and component replacement on existing communications infrastructure
• Support UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz radio systems, including radios, repeaters, dispatch consoles, antennas, and related communications equipment
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation while providing professional customer support at field locations
