Fastems is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. The role will service Fastems equipment at customer sites across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, with the home base in the Northeastern U.S. The technician ensures high-quality service to maximize productivity.

You will install new capital equipment, respond to breakdowns, and communicate between customers and the Service organization. Travel and overnight stays are frequent, and a customer-focused, disciplined approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service with ability to travel frequently overnight to customer sites for multiple days/nights
• Experience with electro/mechanical fault finding in a service/maintenance environment
• CNC/robotics experience is desirable but not essential
• Computer literate with knowledge of software and Windows-based systems

Responsabilités

• Provide service support on Fastems equipment at customer sites in the U.S., Canada and Mexico
• Attend breakdowns and resolve customer challenges onsite
• Support installation of new capital equipment
• Communication liaison between customer, Head of Service, and service department
• Cooperate with all office/administrative support to deliver service solutions
• Effective communicator and brand ambassador for Fastems products and organization
• Assess complex technical requirements of end customer and advise on suitable solutions
• Deployment of new business functions within territory (Service Cloud, ERP Roll Out, OPU etc.)
