Applied Materials Europe is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer Installation & Warranty) in Bernin, FR. You will install, maintain, and upgrade high-tech tools, coordinating with customers and installation teams, and supporting warranty periods on FEP equipment.

The role requires 3–4 years in similar positions, strong technical skills, and travel up to 20%. You will work within a global service group and engage with international colleagues to drive reliability.

Formación

• Master or Engineering degree with at least 3–4 years in a similar position.
• Extensive computer knowledge (Office suite) for diagnostics and reporting.
• Strong technical communication skills to interact with international teams.
• English proficiency for technical procedures and collaboration with abroad colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Manage customer relationships with daily meetings to define priorities.
• Prepare technically for new tool arrivals and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with the US BU, managing escalations.
• Be in charge of spare parts and inventory coordination.
• Coordinate installation: planning, supervise teams, ensure on-time installation.
• Provide installation reports and track milestones for customers.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons with Quality teams.
• Regularly update knowledge on Applied Materials technologies.
