Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) to install, maintain, and upgrade PVD equipment at customer sites. You will coordinate with customers and the installation team, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth operations during warranty periods.

The role requires strong technical communication, field autonomy, and fluent English for international collaboration; travel about 20% is expected in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Master or Engineering degree with 3–4 years of similar experience.
• Strong technical communication skills to interact with international support.
• Strong English for understanding technical procedures and collaboration with colleagues abroad.
• Extensive PC knowledge (Office suite).

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and upgrade PVD equipment at customer sites.
• Coordinate installation with the customer and installation team; manage warranty issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Provide intervention reports and track installation milestones.
