Job summary

TOMRA FOOD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Brittany and neighbouring regions from a home-based setup with occasional travel across France. You will install, commission and service advanced optical sorting equipment for food producers, train operators, and provide hands-on technical support.

Based in Brittany, you will join TOMRA's national Field Service team, travel to customer sites, and enjoy a company car, private use, and a performance-based annual bonus.

Qualifications

• BAC+2 or equivalent in Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics.
• Fluent French and English in a technical environment.
• Experience in Field Service, customer-site maintenance, or travelling technical support.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on industrial equipment.
• Good understanding of IT systems, networking fundamentals, and PC configuration.
• A valid driving licence is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission sorting equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting or service activities.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel.
• Support customers with technical expertise.
• Represent TOMRA as a trusted partner in the field.
• Work from a home base with travel to customer sites in Brittany and France.
