United Rentals is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech III - Field Service - CES) to perform maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment with minimal supervision. You will work in a safe, professional environment and provide exceptional customer service.

This role involves maintaining complex equipment, documenting work, and supporting service department leadership with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on customer equipment with limited supervision.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work orders daily.
• Upsell and demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
