IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated server for our Fontenay-sous-Bois location. You will warmly welcome guests, present menus, and take orders with accuracy while ensuring a flawless dining experience.

You will maintain a clean, organized service area, communicate effectively with kitchen staff, and upsell where appropriate. A flexible shift schedule and a commitment to hotel standards are required.

Responsabilités

• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. portions, ingredients, or allergies)
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
• Inform customers about the day’s specials and offer recommendations
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders using POS or memorization
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders and check presentation
• Maintain a tidy dining area and table settings
• Deliver checks and collect payments; clear dishes afterwards
• Meet with staff to review specials and reservations requirements
• Follow health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests

• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
• Inform customers about the day’s specials – Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using POS ordering software, order slips, or by memorization
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders – Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments – Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
