Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a Market Access Consultant to support pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech clients across Europe from our Paris office. The role focuses on pricing, reimbursement, value strategy and health economics, offering a fast-track path for ambitious professionals looking to accelerate their careers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in market access, HEOR or healthcare consulting.
• Understanding of European pricing and reimbursement systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint and client-facing communication abilities.
• Fluent French and English required.
• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support development of market access and pricing strategies.
• Conduct payer landscape assessments across European markets.
• Contribute to value dossiers and reimbursement submissions.
• Perform market research and stakeholder analysis.
• Develop client-ready presentations and strategic recommendations.
• Assist with HTA and healthcare policy projects.
• Support business development activities and proposal writing.
• Work directly with senior consultants and client leadership teams.
