Cummins Inc. is seeking a talented HSE Project Specialist - Europe Powergen to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across installation, commissioning and delivery projects in Chassieu, France.

You will partner with project managers and site teams to embed HSE requirements, manage RAMS and risk controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and support contractor onboarding. Willingness to travel up to 50% across European sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a College/University degree and professional HSE certification (NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Experience leading HSE programs in power/industrial projects.
• 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience, incl. team leadership and project support.

Responsabilités

• Lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across PowerGen projects to reduce risk and improve performance.
• Partner with project managers and site teams to embed HSE requirements.
• Support installation, commissioning and delivery by applying Cummins standards and European regulatory requirements.
• Lead HSE risk management including RAMS, JSA, and dynamic risk assessments for high-risk activities.
• Verify site readiness and controls for lifting, electrical work, confined space entry and permit-to-work activities.
• Oversee contractor onboarding, HSE induction and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Use HSE metrics, audits and investigations to identify gaps and drive improvements and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Influence a positive HSE culture through coaching and training.
