Job summary

HelloFresh is searching for a Senior Director of Health & Safety Operations Europe to lead safety across our European operations. Reporting to the SVP, Global Engineering and Infrastructure, you will champion robust H&S strategies and a world-class safety culture across diverse sites.

You will architect risk-reduction programs, standardize safety processes, and ensure rigorous compliance with local and international regulations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of safety management experience.
• Leadership experience in Europe across multinational operations.
• Strong knowledge of European safety regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the European H&S strategy in line with business objectives.
• Build a Zero Incident culture and risk-reduction programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and certifications across regions.
• Standardize safety processes using proprietary framework.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Site Operations on safe production practices.
• Leverage data to report KPIs to senior leadership.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Represent safety to regulators and stakeholders in Europe.
• Conduct internal/external safety audits across regions.
• Mentor and develop safety teams; drive succession planning.
• Pioneer AI and emerging tech for safety improvements.
