We are currently recruiting for an EU Textile EPR Lead (H/F) to join our EU Sustainability team, based in our Paris office. Reporting to the EU Sustainability Environmental Management Team, you will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders across Europe to prepare for and manage UNIQLO Europe's evolving textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations.

This is an opportunity for someone with experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), who is excited by the challenge of building and leading a new compliance programme at a European level.

  • Lead UNIQLO Europe's textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programme, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations across multiple EU markets.
  • Work closely with Sustainability, Production, Finance, Legal, local market teams, and Global Headquarters, overseeing PRO registrations, regulatory reporting, data management, and audit readiness while ensuring consistent implementation across all markets.
  • Develop and deliver UNIQLO Europe's textile EPR strategy, support budgeting and cost forecasting, identify opportunities to optimise compliance costs, and contribute to initiatives linked to product durability, traceability, and recycled materials.
  • Build strong relationships with PROs, consultants, and industry associations, monitor regulatory developments, and provide clear guidance on associated risks, opportunities, and business impacts.
Required Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • 5-7 years' experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, EPR, supply chain, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of EU environmental legislation, circular economy principles, and product compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple countries and stakeholders.
  • Confident working with large datasets, reporting methodologies, and compliance-related audits.
  • Knowledge of EPR schemes, sustainability reporting, certifications, traceability, durability, or recycled materials is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate evolving regulations into practical business processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving regulatory environment.

  • Experience working with environmental compliance reporting, regulatory submissions, or Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) is highly desirable.
