CATL in Paris, France seeks an experienced Battery Systems Specialist to support front-end market insights, product research, and customer maintenance for European markets.

You will analyze competition, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely responses to key customers across time zones. Proficiency in French and English is essential; German is a plus, and a EU driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid technical foundation in new energy battery systems including battery system integration, BMS, thermal management or electrical design
• Experience in development, testing and deployment of lithium batteries for advanced vehicles and knowledge of power battery structure and vehicle adaptation logic
• Strong independent problem solving; capable of handling overseas docking problems and coordinating internal resources for risk mitigation
• Excellent French and English communication (written and oral); Chinese useful

Responsabilités

• Conduct terminal product research and maintain customer relationships
• Monitor competitors' products and support sample delivery and collaboration
• Provide debugging support and timely responses to key customer inquiries across time zones

Key abilities

Understand vehicle development, experience in the European automotive industry system and understand battery development technology, strong communication and coordination skills, European driver's license, more than 5 years of working experience, German and other minor language skills are preferred.

Requirements

• Professional and technical reserves: Have a solid technical foundation related to new energy battery systems, and have professional and technical reserves in at least one subdivision direction such as battery system integration, BMS battery management system, thermal management, and electrical design;
• Relevant work experience in the development, testing, and implementation application of lithium batteries and new energy commercial vehicles/passenger vehicles, and is familiar with power battery structure, performance parameters, and vehicle adaptation logic.
• Problem solving capabilities: It has strong independent problem analysis and solving capabilities, can independently handle various emergency technical and docking problems in battery adaptation, project implementation, and customer applications in overseas scenarios, and is good at dismantling complex problems and linking internal resources Efficient closed-loop, with project risk prediction and emergency response capabilities.
• Communication skills: have good oral and written communication skills in French and English, with clear logic and professional and appropriate expression; Chinese is a plus
• Comprehensive quality: strong pressure resistance, active and efficient work, good customer service awareness, teamwork awareness and market sensitivity, and strong sense of purpose and result-oriented thinking.
