HSBC is seeking a Head of ESG Reporting for Continental Europe. You will lead development, implementation, and oversight of ESG disclosures, ensuring high-quality reporting aligned with CSRD and EU standards. You will collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Sustainability, and Risk teams to meet tight regulatory deadlines.

You will guide strategy, improve data controls, and engage with regulators and auditors, driving timely, accurate disclosures across the annual report and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, sustainable finance, economics, or related field.
• Significant ESG or financial reporting experience in banking/finance.
• Strong knowledge of ESG regulations and disclosure frameworks.
• Proven cross‑functional leadership and time‑critical project delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead ESG reporting development, implementation, and oversight for Continental Europe.
• Ensure compliance with CSRD, EU Taxonomy, Pillar 3 ESG disclosures.
• Oversee ESG disclosures production and publication, incl. sustainability reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Sustainability, Risk, Legal, HR, and Communications.
• Engage regulators, auditors, and industry bodies; monitor regulatory changes.
