Intermountain Health in Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department during night shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role requires rapid assessment, careful planning, and coordinated care for acutely ill patients.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and documenting accurately. A BSN is required by 4/27/2025 and a current RN license with BLS is necessary.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsabilités

• Assesses physical, social, and psychological status; gathers and evaluates information from the patient and care team.
• Plans and educates; develops an individualized care plan with patient and family involvement.
• Directs care through delegation and collaboration; manages time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluates patient response; revises the care plan as needed and reassesses changes.
• Promotes professionalism; adheres to legal/ethical standards and documents accurately.
