The successful candidate will drive complex consolidation projects, oversee intercompany processes, and shape the firm’s consolidation capability across IFRS and French GAAP frameworks.

Equity Partner – Consolidation & Reporting

Location: Greater Paris Region

Sector: Accounting & Professional Services – Consolidation & Reporting

We are working with a leading French-headquartered international professional services, accounting and advisory organisation on the appointment of an Equity Partner – Consolidation & Reporting.

This is a senior appointment within an established accounting and financial reporting business. The firm is looking for someone with exceptionally strong technical accounting and consolidation expertise who can lead complex client engagements and further develop its Consolidation & Reporting capability.

The Opportunity

The successful Partner will advise major French and international organisations across areas including:

• Production and review of consolidated financial statements
• French GAAP
• IFRS
• International accounting and reporting requirements
• Group consolidation and reporting
• Complex accounting and consolidation issues
• Acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs and changes in consolidation perimeter
• Integration of newly acquired businesses
• Consolidation process optimisation
• Accelerating and improving financial close processes
• Intercompany processes and reconciliations
• Consolidation systems and technology
• Accounting and reporting transformation

The role requires someone who is comfortable operating at a highly technical accounting level while also leading major client relationships, teams and complex engagements.

Technical Expertise

Candidates should have deep practical knowledge of French accounting standards and IFRS and significant experience producing and advising on consolidated accounts.

Experience with consolidation and reporting systems is also important. Candidates may have worked with platforms such as:

• Oracle HFM
• OneStream
• Tagetik
• Amelkis
• Other major consolidation and reporting platforms

This is not a technology implementation role. Systems knowledge should complement deep accounting and consolidation expertise.

The Profile

Candidates should ideally bring:

• Significant experience in Consolidation & Reporting
• Deep technical knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS
• Strong experience with complex group consolidation issues
• Experience advising major French and international organisations
• Strong understanding of consolidation processes and systems
• Experience leading significant client engagements and teams
• A background within a leading accounting or professional services organisation
• The capability and ambition to operate as an Equity Partner

Candidates are likely to currently operate at Partner, Associate Partner, Director or equivalent senior level within an accounting, advisory or professional services organisation.
