The role requires PM discipline, troubleshooting, and supervisory responsibility for technicians and engineers, with authority to release tools to production following maintenance procedures. Responsibilities include owning metrology equipment, reducing cost of ownership, and partnering with process engineering to improve yield, module development, and coordination with

Qualifications

• Maintain PM and troubleshooting procedure.
• Supervisory role of Equipment Technicians and assistant engineer or equivalent.
• Assess tool capability and decision making to release tool to production following a preventive or corrective maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Equipment related to Metal deposition, with understanding on at least one of the following tools.
• Ownership of equipment of at least one Metrology Equipment.
• To achieve lowest cost of ownership and equipment.
• To establish PM and equipment improvement methodology.
• To involve in yield improvement and module development.
• To transfer/accept unit process from technology partner.
• To start up the equipment on schedule.
• To ensure equipment indices are meeting the targeted value.
• Work with process engineering on module development.
• Work with process engineering to meet targeted defect density.
• Work with manufacturing to meet the production goals.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Maintain PM and troubleshooting procedure.

• Purchase requisition activity for spares and consumables
• Down and release tool in X-Site.
• Tool Shutdown Acknowledgement.
• Spec. , SERI and TEI Approver. (supervisory role only)
• Leave and OT approver. (supervisory role only)
• PR, MO and Management Paper approver. (supervisory role only)
• Performance Appraisal approver. (supervisory role only)

Responsibilities

• The job incumbent?s scope of work is summarized as below:
• Equipment related to Metal deposition, with complete understanding on at least one of

the following tools

__ Liner barrier/Metal slab/ RTP & Salicide, Tungsten CVD process relating to metal films

__ All aspects of component operations, defect points and system integration

__ Historical and Derived knowledge about issues of owned tool

__ Preventive maintenance items on the tool

• Ownership of equipment of at least one Metrology Equipment.
• To achieve lowest cost of ownership and equipment
• To establish PM and equipment improvement methodology
• To involve in yield improvement and module development
• To transfer/accept unit process from technology partner
• To start up the equipment on schedule
• To ensure equipment indices are meeting the targeted value
• Work with process engineering on module development
