Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Design Environment Lead for a major industrial project in France. The role ensures environmental requirements are integrated from design through construction and site operations to achieve top environmental performance.

You will work across design, permitting, construction, and environmental teams to guarantee compliant delivery. A Master’s degree and 3+ years in relevant projects are expected, with strong French/EU regulatory knowledge and technical English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in environmental management or engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on technical or construction projects, ideally involving environmental design or on-site environmental supervision.
• Strong understanding of French and EU environmental regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in technical English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Embed environmental considerations in every step of the project lifecycle during design, site prep, and construction.
• Ensure compliance with environmental procedures, norms, and regulations throughout the project.
• Audit and improve environmental performance; support documentation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
