Fortinet in Paris, France, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales organization with pre-sales engineering and technical guidance across networking and security solutions.

You will qualify leads technically, be the main technical resource on sales calls, discuss features and integration, and help customers with post-sales training, leveraging deep knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs and security technologies.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of technical/pre-sales experience as sales or systems engineer.
• 5–8 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, IDS, Antivirus.
• Understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPsec, Firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and explain features and integration to customers.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide post-sales training assistance to identified customers.
