Job summary

Aggreko is seeking an Engineering & Solutions Manager, Europe to lead and develop its Customer Engineering capability across Europe, ensuring safety, governance and high-quality engineering delivery for complex customer solutions in power, temperature control, and energy technologies.

You will partner with Commercial, Operations, Product Management and Project teams to drive growth across Data Centres, Utilities, Energy Transition and Critical Infrastructure, while mentoring multidisciplinary

You’ll lead and develop Aggreko’s Customer Engineering capability across Europe, ensuring the standards, governance, technical expertise and engineering capacity required to support business growth and deliver complex customer solutions across power, temperature control, controls and integrated energy technologies. What you’ll do as Engineering & Solutions Manager, Europe:

• Lead and develop Aggreko’s multidisciplinary engineering function, spanning Project Design Engineering, Controls Engineering, Product Specialists and Solutions & Applications Engineering.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, technical governance and assurance processes that deliver safe, compliant and commercially successful engineering solutions across Europe.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Product Management and Project teams to develop innovative, differentiated customer solutions, supporting strategic growth opportunities across sectors including Data Centres, Utilities, Energy Transition and Critical Infrastructure.
• Provide leadership and oversight for complex and strategically significant customer opportunities, ensuring robust solution design, technical feasibility, risk mitigation and commercial viability.
• Drive engineering innovation, capability development and productivity improvements through new technologies, AI-enabled tools, engineering partnerships, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

You Are

• An experienced engineering leader with a proven track record managing multidisciplinary engineering teams within power generation, temperature control, energy, utilities, infrastructure, industrial or related sectors.
• Experienced in developing and governing complex engineering solutions, with a strong understanding of engineering governance, technical assurance, risk management and safety requirements.
• Commercially astute with the ability to balance technical excellence, customer requirements, operational performance and business objectives.
• Candidates will ideally have significant engineering leadership experience within the power generation and/or temperature control industries. Experience delivering complex engineered solutions in mission-critical environments, as well as data centres, utilities, industrial operations or critical infrastructure, coupled with a strong understanding of commercial, operational and technical drivers, will be highly valued.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
