WelcomeTrack is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a squad of software engineers as their technical leader and mentor. You will partner with a Product Manager and a Designer to translate strategy into a paced roadmap, balancing quality and speed, and ensuring transparent communication up and down the organization.

You’ll set expectations, run effective 1:1s, recruit, onboard, and develop talent while maintaining operational rigor and championing testing, CI/CD, and observability.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years total software experience
• 2–5 years in people management or leading teams
• Strong leadership and delivery track record across products/design
• Fluent in French and English communication

Responsabilités

• Lead a squad; own delivery, quality, and team health.
• Partner with PM/Designer on roadmap and execution.
• Maintain focus on architecture, code quality, and reviews.
• Meet velocity and quality targets; document decisions; unblock blockers.
• Promote testing, CI/CD, observability, and reliable releases; monitor KPIs.
• Handle internal requests with timely follow-up and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain engineers; run effective 1:1s and feedback.
• Drive AI and developer-productivity tooling where it adds value.
• Collaborate with EMs/Staff/Tech Leads and VP Eng to improve processes.
• Align with cross-functional teams to elevate execution and reliability.
