The company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure and SRE team in Paris, ensuring a high-availability platform for a large, real-time user base.

You will hire, mentor and grow engineers, shape cloud strategy, enforce reliability, security, and cost controls, and work with technical leadership to define priorities and roadmap for scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or master's in computer science with a track record designing and optimizing complex cloud architectures on high-volume systems.
• At least 4 years managing technical teams and more than 5 years of overall experience.
• Proven technical leadership: you have structured how a team works and brought people together around shared goals.
• Hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code and Unix/Linux environments.
• A pragmatic approach, favoring durable, simple solutions that work in production.
• A management style built on trust and coaching, with the wish to build solid foundations in a growing company.
• Fluent French (native or bilingual).

Engineering Manager, Infrastructure & SRE — Paris

Lead the team that keeps a high-traffic, real-time platform up when hundreds of thousands of users connect at the same moment, and decide where the infrastructure goes next.

What you'd actually work on

• Managing and growing the infrastructure and SRE team, making sure its work stays aligned with the priorities set by technical leadership
• Hiring actively, from defining profiles to onboarding new engineers, including taking part in sourcing events when needed
• Building the team's skills over time so that expertise doesn't sit with one or two people
• Driving the evolution of the cloud environments, balancing performance, data protection and cost in every decision
• Setting technical priorities across teams that all need something from infrastructure, and explaining those tradeoffs clearly
• Contributing to the medium and long-term technology roadmap, including choices on tools, security practices and scaling strategy
• Structuring reliability work across the whole engineering organization, not only inside your own team

Where it gets technically interesting

• A proprietary real-time transaction engine that has to handle massive data flows instantly, with strict integrity and control requirements
• Traffic that comes in sharp peaks during major live events, where availability is expected to be permanent and slowdowns are visible to users right away
• A distributed, modular architecture built to scale, where every change to infrastructure must keep the platform resilient under load
• A broad stack to own: containers, virtualization, serverless services, relational and NoSQL databases, high-performance caching and API gateways
• Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling that you can push further, with a strong focus on automation and better visibility across systems

What we're looking for
