VINCI Construction is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead all engineering and technical activities across the project lifecycle for a major international infrastructure project. The role coordinates studies, interfaces, resources, and compliance while supporting objectives in quality, schedule, cost and safety.

The position will be based abroad with regular travel to the project site, reporting to the Project Manager, and partnering with Client, Designer, and partners to deliver engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Public Works, or related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience managing engineering activities on large infrastructure, transportation, civil engineering, or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of design management, engineering coordination, construction methods, and technical standards.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an international and multicultural environment.
• Proficiency with engineering and design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM environments, or similar software.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to take ownership of technical performance.
• Experience working in remote project environments and camp-based operations.
• Ability to work in challenging environments with 9 weeks ON / 3 weeks OFF rotation schedules.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate all engineering, design, and technical activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, subcontractors, and technical stakeholders.
• Act as the main interface with the Client, Designer, engineering partners, and project departments on all technical matters.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, technical organization, schedules, and budgets required for project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical standards, company procedures, and safety-in-design principles.
• Monitor engineering deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and timely completion.
• Coordinate technical interfaces and manage engineering risks and opportunities.
• Identify technical optimizations and value engineering opportunities to enhance project performance.
• Work closely with Construction, Project Controls, Quality, and Contract Management teams to ensure alignment between design and execution activities.
• Monitor the engineering budget and assess the impact of technical modifications on project cost and schedule.
• Provide regular reporting on engineering performance, key technical issues, and project progress.
• Support commissioning, project handover activities, and lessons learned processes.

To support the successful delivery of a major international infrastructure project in a challenging environment, we are recruiting an experienced Engineering Manager (M/F).

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading all engineering and technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design development to construction execution. The role ensures the coordination of studies, technical interfaces, engineering resources, and technical compliance while supporting project objectives in terms of quality, schedule, cost, and safety.

This position will be based abroad in a demanding environment, with regular travel on the project site.
