Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Contract Management and/or Construction Law.
• Experience on large infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, or EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of contractual, commercial, and financial project risks.
• Ability to manage claims, variations, and contractual correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
• Fluent English, including contractual and technical English.
• Adaptable and internationally mobile.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage contractual correspondence with the Client, including claims and variation requests.
• Register and follow up variation orders, contractual events, and client communications.
• Identify and assess contractual, commercial, and financial risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure contractual obligations and third-party requirements are properly managed.
• Anticipate risks associated with delays and potential contractual penalties.
• Support the development and implementation of the project's contractual and commercial strategy.
• Assist with client valuations and ensure compliance with contractual payment requirements.
• Participate in project review and management meetings.
• Work closely with the Subcontract Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Finance Team, Document Control Team, and Head Office when required.

To support the successful delivery of a major international infrastructure project in a challenging environment, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager (M/F).

In this role, you will be responsible for managing contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, protecting the project's interests, and supporting the successful delivery of project objectives.

This position will be based abroad in a demanding environment, with regular missions to the project site and close interaction with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Project Director, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing contractual correspondence with the Client, including claims and variation requests.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in demanding project environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law or Juris Doctor would be an asset.
• Adaptable and internationally mobile.
