Job summary

Lesaffre, a global leader in yeasts and fermentation, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the DDTech delivery teams (Data, Software, Web) and drive engineering excellence. You will balance hands-on technical leadership with people management, shaping team structure and talent allocations to meet group priorities.

You will promote AI-enabled engineering practices, define engineering best practices, and ensure high-quality delivery while growing engineers and collaborating with the Lead

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, Cloud or Data engineering with hands-on tech leadership.
• Proven experience in supervising engineers and delivering product-focused work.
• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Engineers: mentor and develop the Solution Engineering squads and define career paths.
• Staffing & Allocation: own staffing and allocation across Product Squads.
• Culture Builder: foster an One Team culture with ownership and automation-first mindset.
• Hiring: lead technical hiring end-to-end with HR, building pipelines and running interviews.
• Hands-On Credibility: stay close to code, architecture and design decisions.
