Unifonic, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Lead, Conversational Platforms, to drive hands-on software development and manage a team of engineers. You will work on messaging channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Email) and lead the team to deliver scalable solutions.

You will recruit and onboard engineers, collaborate with product and design, and ensure best practices in architecture, testing, and CI/CD while supporting offshore teams daily.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience building or integrating conversational and messaging systems across channels.
7+ years engineering experience with 5+ years in building scalable enterprise systems.
5+ years as Java or Python developer; strong database knowledge (MySQL, Cassandra).

Responsabilités

Recruitment & onboarding of engineering talent.
Plan and schedule work with product, design, and engineering teams.
Communicate status, risks and requirements to stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and code reviews to the team.
Lead and mentor developers to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
