Swiss Re is seeking a Risk Manager EMEA in Paris to oversee risk oversight for EMEA P&C Market Units. You will report to the CRO of Swiss Re Europe and work with the CRO of SRE UK, gaining exposure to a global risk landscape and high-impact initiatives.

You will evaluate underwriting risk, drive risk communication, and collaborate with risk teams across regions. A hybrid model requires in-office presence at least three days per week.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate the P&C Re EMEA underwriting strategy at portfolio level and contribute to the global risk view on business strategy.
• Review the execution of strategic plans across EMEA, considering regulatory, geopolitical, and market trends.
• Assess large and complex P&C transactions in EMEA from both quantitative and qualitative risk angles, influencing decisions at BU and legal entity levels.
• Lead or contribute to insurance risk reviews for specific EMEA markets or cross-cutting topics in collaboration with other risk teams.
• Contribute to the review of material L&H transactions underwritten by Swiss Re Europe and its branches.
• Support the identification and mitigation of operational risks related to underwriting activities.
• Drive impactful internal and external risk communication at Swiss Re Europe and P&C Re Risk Management level.
• Bring forward new risk insights based on market developments and interactions with internal partners.
• Work closely with Risk Management colleagues to ensure consistency, efficiency, and knowledge sharing.
• Interact with underwriters and key risk takers to build trusted relationships.
• Contribute to and drive risk management activities, initiatives, and projects globally.
