Swiss Re in Paris is seeking a Risk Manager EMEA to oversee P&C underwriting and business risk across the region. You will report to the CRO of Swiss Re Europe and collaborate with Risk Management teams to shape risk governance.

The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, hybrid work with three office days per week, and a broad mandate across markets, emphasizing analytical rigor and cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• P&C (Re)insurance expertise: underwriting or pricing experience within P&C (re)insurance.
• Analytical excellence: simplify complex issues and translate insights into recommendations.
• Challenge mindset: comfortable giving constructive feedback as a challenger.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate P&C Re EMEA underwriting strategy at portfolio level and contribute to the global risk view.
• Review execution of strategic plans across EMEA considering regulatory and market trends.
• Assess large and complex P&C transactions in EMEA from quantitative and qualitative angles.
• Lead or contribute to insurance risk reviews for specific markets or topics.
• Contribute to review of material L&H transactions underwritten by Swiss Re Europe.
