HID Global is seeking an Embedded System Engineer in France to join the Electronics R&D team. You will specify, develop, test, and maintain embedded software, contributing from architecture through production launch and ongoing maintenance.

You will collaborate with hardware, software and industrialization teams to deliver robust solutions and drive software quality through automation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of embedded software development in C.
• Experience with embedded Linux environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilités

• Supports the development and evolution of embedded software platforms across new and existing product lines.
• Drives software quality initiatives through automation, continuous improvement, and development best practices.
• Leads technical analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of software-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Supports prototype bring-up, configuration, and validation activities during development and pre-series production phases.
• Collaborates with hardware, software, and industrialization teams to deliver robust and reliable product solutions.
