Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAS is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a specialist team delivering onboard software for satellite missions. You will contribute to standardized Data Handled SW modules and participate in the full software lifecycle within a high-regulation space environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• Solid understanding of Low-Layer software and architectures (OS like Linux/Unix).
• Familiarity with the V-cycle development process and programming in C, C++, or Java.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed software components for onboard satellite systems.
• Ensure software meets strict space standards through testing and validation.
• Assist integration of modules into central satellite software and support documentation.
• Investigate anomalies and contribute to high-reliability system troubleshooting.
