The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble seeks an Electronics Engineer to drive development of cutting-edge electronic instrumentation for world-class experiments. You will work on control electronics for beamlines and the accelerator complex, ensuring precision and reliability through robust hardware and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Electronics and 5+ years in electronics engineering, including board design.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electronics or related field
  • 5+ years of electronics engineering experience with hands-on board design
  • Strong background in digital and analog electronics, including circuit design and PCB layout
  • Proficiency in Python and C; FPGA design is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilités

  • Develop and maintain control electronics hardware for beamlines and the accelerator complex
  • Provide high-quality technical support to users for reliable operation of control electronics solutions
  • Design and implement electronics for instrumentation, including sensor interfaces, low-noise and high-speed circuits, embedded systems, and motion control
