The ESRF in Grenoble seeks an Electronics Engineer to drive development of advanced control electronics for beamlines and accelerator systems. You will design, test, and maintain electronic hardware, from sensor interfaces to high-speed analog/digital circuits, and provide onsite support to researchers.

With a Master’s in Electronics and 5+ years’ hands-on experience, you will thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment and contribute to ambitious projects in a dynamic international

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent, 300 ECTS) in Electronics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics engineering with hands-on board design.
• Strong background in digital and analog electronics, circuit design, schematics, PCB layout.
• Good IT skills; programming (Python, C) and FPGA design are assets.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain control electronics hardware for beamlines and accelerator complex.
• Provide high-quality technical support to users ensuring reliable operation.
• Design electronics for instrumentation including sensor interfaces and high-speed circuits.
