ACC - Automotive Cells Company seeks an expert to lead electrode R&D activities in Bruges, driving manufacturing scale-up and robust product performance. You will define optimization windows, support technology transfer, and contribute to quality-oriented product development.

The role requires strong chemistry and DoE skills, with proven experience in battery electrode characterization, analytical methods, and cross-functional collaboration across R&D, manufacturing, and QA teams.

Formación

• Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and electrode manufacturing.
• Experience with electrode and slurry characterization.
• Familiarity with DoE, statistics, and data interpretation.
• Proven track record in product validation and process control.
• Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Act as local contact for Bruges product R&D on electrode topics.
• Lead electrode-related activities during product industrialization and scale-up.
• Support technology transfer from pilot development to gigafactory production.
• Define and validate product-process windows for robust manufacturing.
• Provide technical support during industrial trials and product implementation.
• Define electrode characterization and evaluate performance using analytical methods.
• Lead investigations related to electrode and slurry performance and manufacturing issues.
• Create and maintain test specs for electrodes and components, with clear acceptance criteria.
