Adoc Talent Management is representing a DeepTech startup in Amiens, France, seeking a senior professional to own the technical mastery of battery active materials and to drive industrial scale-up. The role sits at the interface of R&D and Operations, with responsibilities spanning supplier qualification and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work in a hybrid setup, traveling internationally to establish supplier partnerships in China, Korea and Japan, ensuring product quality and supply

Qualifications

• Master's or Engineering degree in chemical engineering, materials science, electrochemistry or related field.
• Strong expertise in active materials chemistry (cathode/anode/electrolyte) or development/industrialization of complex materials.
• Experience developing and qualifying industrial suppliers; translate R&D needs into technical specs.
• Ability to write technical specifications and use quality tools (FMEA, control plans, qualification protocols).

Responsabilités

• Ensure technical mastery of battery active materials and manufacturing processes.
• Interface between R&D and suppliers; translate scientific requirements into specs.
• Identify, qualify and develop battery materials suppliers (China, Korea, Japan).
• Manage supplier qualification cycles from samples to scale-up.
• Co-develop product/process specs; establish quality standards and protocols.
• Support industrialization and scale-up of manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate across R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain and Process Engineering.
