Harmattan AI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead design, prototyping, and integration of electronics powering our rugged UAV control systems. You will shape the architecture of an autonomous, high-performance ground control system for mission-critical deployments.

The role focuses on PCB design, component integration, and system-level EMI/EMC and power management, with collaboration across mechanical and software teams in a demanding defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience designing embedded systems for handheld or rugged equipment.
• Strong PCB design with Altium or equivalent.
• RF integration, EMI shielding, and power management knowledge.
• Bonus: experience with military or mission-critical comms.
• Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to commit to Harmattan AI's mission.

Responsabilités

• Design and prototype PCBs for handheld control stations with high reliability.
• Integrate displays, joysticks, communication modules, antennas, and batteries.
• Define system electrical architecture including wiring and shielding.
• Collaborate with mechanical and embedded software teams.
• Select suppliers and oversee fabrication and assembly.
• Perform thermal, EMI/EMC, and field testing in harsh environments.
• Document designs and iterate from prototype to production.
