Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading investment bank to hire an experienced EGB STRIPS Trader to join its Paris-based Rates Trading desk. The role is at VP level, based in Paris, offering exposure to euro government bond markets and cross-functional collaboration with sales and repo teams.

The ideal candidate has proven experience trading EGB STRIPS and other rates products, strong analytical skills, and a track record of revenue generation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience trading EGB STRIPS, sovereign bonds, or rates products.
• Strong understanding of Euro government bond markets.
• Track record of risk-taking and revenue generation.
• Knowledge of duration, curve, and relative value trading.

We are working with a leading investment bank looking to hire an experienced EGB STRIPS Trader to join its Paris-based Rates Trading desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade and risk-manage European Government Bond (EGB) STRIPS positions.
• Identify relative value opportunities across cash bonds, STRIPS, futures, and swaps.
• Provide pricing and liquidity to institutional clients.
• Work closely with sales, repo, and rates trading teams.
• Monitor ECB policy, sovereign issuance, and macroeconomic developments.

Requirements

• Proven experience trading EGB STRIPS, sovereign bonds, or rates products.
