SATLANTIS France seeks a Space Project Manager to lead end-to-end space optical payload and Earth Observation camera projects, while building industrial capabilities in France. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee technical performance, schedule, costs and risks, collaborating with customers, space agencies, satellite platform providers and suppliers.

The role suits a Space Systems Engineer evolving toward project management.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Space Systems, Aerospace, Electronics, Optics, or related field.
• 5+ years in the space industry (Systems Engineer/Technical Manager/Project Manager).
• Familiarity with space qualification, verification and AIT processes.
• Strong technical understanding; able to challenge engineering choices and coordinate specialists.
• Experience with Earth Observation, optical payloads, imaging instruments or small satellites is a plus.
• Fluency in English and French; Spanish is a plus.
• Eligibility to obtain defence security clearance in France.

Responsabilités

• Lead space camera projects from contract award through integration, delivery and in-orbit operations.
• Manage schedules, budgets, milestones, risks and P&L, ensuring contractual commitments.
• Act as interface with satellite platform providers, primes and suppliers.
• Coordinate payload/platform interfaces across system-level, mechanical, electrical, thermal, EMC, software and data disciplines.
• Build relationships with customers, space agencies, partners and key suppliers.
• Coordinate payload integration and satellite-level AIT activities.
• Contribute to proposals, tenders, cost and schedule estimates and business development activities.
