Job summary

Meta’s Infrastructure Silicon group seeks a Power Architect to drive power modeling and architectural optimization for DPU designs. You will influence decisions from early analysis to RTL-scale power verification, ensuring top power efficiency on data center workloads.

The role requires deep experience in workload analysis, system-level power models, and power-saving features such as DVFS and clock gating. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of industry experience in power architecture and power modeling.
• Experience with power management firmware/software co-design and on-die telemetry.
• Experience with ASIC development flows and power/thermal sign-off tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world DPU workloads to identify power bottlenecks.
• Build workload-driven power models and rollups across architectures.
• Quantify trade-offs for energy-per-transaction and power-per-bit.
• Define DVFS, power gating, clock gating, and workload-aware policies.
• Correlate pre-silicon projections with post-silicon measurements.
